UNC a professor Dr. Ward is conducting a genetics lab with our seventh graders today! They are extracting their own DNA to determine if they carry a gene that can distinguish bitter taste!

Watching engineering and art come together at the UNCA STEAM studio today!
Students enjoyed a cultural presentation to align with Social Studies standards following Chinese Culture. There was a Kung Fu and lion dance demonstration. Student’s families were also invited to the event.
We celebrated students that excel in our PBIS program with a dance party. Our favorite dj, Dr. Dickerson, showed up with decks and students and staff hot the dance floor. Congrats to our MNSA students for their stellar behavior this past nine weeks.
